This is my proof-of-concept page for webrings as a solution to social media algorithms & censorship.

The point of the webring isn’t to replace social media–it’s my hope it can provide a place for artists & authors to archive their works free from the growing trend toward content censorship on major platforms where others in the community can easily find & connect with it.

You can easily create a webpage like this one--for free!--here on neocities or anywhere you'd like to host. Here, your content can be hosted without being buried the next day & is easy to find for anyone who wants to come along. Small sites like this can easily be linked to one another in a "ring" where surfers can jump from one to another without ads and algorithms.

Perhaps if others like this format, I will add some more tutorials like how to create your own site & an ad-free "doomscroll feed" with updates to the websites you follow via RSS!
